Pandora Hijack Target Locations

Pandora, the starting planet, hosts four Hijack Targets, offering a good starting point to boost your vehicle customization early in the game.

#1 – Outrunner’s Heavy Armor (Ascension Bluff)

To claim the Outrunner’s Heavy Armor in Ascension Bluff, you’ll need to manipulate the environment slightly. The vehicle is locked behind a powered door.

How to Hijack:

  1. Locate the yellow power cable leading to the locked door.
  2. Follow the cable to its end where you’ll find a button.
  3. Hit the button to activate the power. This will open the door, granting you access to the Outrunner and its Heavy Armor upgrade.
  4. Drive the hijacked Outrunner to the nearest Catch-a-Ride station to add the Heavy Armor part to your collection.

#2 – Technical’s Spike Wheels (Devil’s Razor)

For the Technical’s Spike Wheels in Devil’s Razor, you’ll need to do a bit of climbing. This Hijack Target is parked on a rooftop, requiring a slightly different approach.

Location: Pandora, Devil’s Razor

How to Hijack:

  1. Identify the building where the Technical is parked on the roof.
  2. Climb the house using the accessible ledges and climbable spots on the side of the building.
  3. Once on the rooftop, enter the Technical.
  4. Carefully drive the Technical off the roof to get it to ground level and then to a Catch-a-Ride station to unlock the Spike Wheels.

#3 – Outrunner’s Zip Wheels (Devil’s Razor)

Another Hijack Target in Devil’s Razor, this time for the Outrunner’s Zip Wheels, involves a bit more climbing and a daring ramp jump.

Location: Pandora, Devil’s Razor

How to Hijack:

  1. Locate the Outrunner positioned on a platform with a ramp.
  2. Climb the scaffold positioned under the vehicle, utilizing the yellow ledges to ascend.
  3. Once you reach the vehicle, get inside.
  4. Drive the Outrunner off the ramp and safely to a Catch-a-Ride station to secure the Zip Wheels upgrade.

#4 – Technical’s Tire Launcher (The Splinterlands)

In The Splinterlands, the Technical’s Tire Launcher is hidden within a garage, requiring a power button activation similar to the first Pandora target.

Location: Pandora, The Splinterlands (Homestead area)

How to Hijack:

How to Hijack:

  1. Approach the general marker area closely; the specific Hijack Target icon will appear when you are near enough.

How to Hijack:

  1. Locate the Cyclone behind a yellow energy barrier.

  3. You’ll see three red targets positioned above the cable on pipes. Shoot all three red targets. This will cause water to flow and electrify sections of the cable.
  4. After shooting the targets, return to the energy barrier and press the power button to disable it.
  5. Enter the Cyclone and drive it to a Catch-a-Ride to unlock the Sonic Booster.

Eden-6 Hijack Target Locations

Eden-6, the swampy planet, also features two Hijack Targets that require a bit of environmental maneuvering.

#7 – Outrunner’s Razor Wings (Floodmoor Basin)

The Outrunner’s Razor Wings in Floodmoor Basin is arguably the most challenging Hijack Target. It requires a precise jump, and the Cyclone vehicle is highly recommended for this stunt.

Location: Eden-6, Floodmoor Basin

How to Hijack:

  1. Locate the Outrunner perched on a platform, seemingly inaccessible by normal means.
  2. Position yourself on the cliffs above the vehicle near Knotty Peak. Look for a natural ramp-like formation.
  3. Using a vehicle (Cyclone recommended for its maneuverability), drive off the cliff ramp and jump towards the Outrunner. Use your boost to extend your jump.
  4. Aim to land directly into the Outrunner to hijack it. Be cautious, landing too hard might destroy the vehicle.
  5. Once inside, drive it to a Catch-a-Ride to unlock the Razor Wings.

#8 – Cyclone’s Wide Wheel (Floodmoor Basin)

The Cyclone’s Wide Wheel Hijack Target in Floodmoor Basin is less about daring jumps and more about clever navigation around a building.

Location: Eden-6, Floodmoor Basin

How to Hijack:

  1. Approach the building where the Cyclone is located.
  2. Instead of trying to enter directly, go around the corner of the building.
  3. You will find a “balcony” area that you can jump to.
  4. From the balcony, you can access the Cyclone.
  5. Drive it to a Catch-a-Ride to unlock the Wide Wheel upgrade.

Nekrotafeyo Hijack Target Locations

Nekrotafeyo, the final planet, contains the last two Hijack Targets, completing your collection of unique vehicle parts.

#9 – Cyclone’s Digithruster (Desolation’s Edge)

The Cyclone’s Digithruster in Desolation’s Edge is one of the easiest Hijack Targets to access, requiring only a simple melee attack.

Location: Nekrotafeyo, Desolation’s Edge

How to Hijack:

  1. Locate the garage where the Cyclone is parked, sealed by red vines.
  2. Simply melee the red vines covering the garage door.
  3. This will destroy the vines, opening the garage.
  4. Enter the Cyclone and drive it to a Catch-a-Ride to unlock the Digithruster.

#10 – Outrunner’s Energy Cell (Desolation’s Edge)

The final Hijack Target, the Outrunner’s Energy Cell in Desolation’s Edge, involves disabling energy barriers by targeting generators.

Location: Nekrotafeyo, Desolation’s Edge

How to Hijack:

  1. Find the Outrunner behind a yellow energy barrier.
  2. Locate the three yellow power cables connected to the barrier.
  3. Follow each cable to its end and shoot the generator located there. There are three generators in total, one for each cable.
  4. Destroying all three generators will shut down the energy barrier.
  5. Enter the Outrunner and drive it to a Catch-a-Ride to unlock the Energy Cell.

By completing all these Hijack Target challenges, you’ll have unlocked 10 unique vehicle parts, significantly enhancing your car customization options in Borderlands 3. Remember to explore each planet thoroughly, as random vehicles can also provide additional car parts to further personalize your rides and dominate the Borderlands in style!
