The 2021 Mazda CX-5 Sport trim sets a high standard with a wealth of premium features included as standard. A highlight is the all-new 10.25-inch center display, showcasing the latest Mazda Connect infotainment system. This system seamlessly integrates Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ for smartphone connectivity. Furthermore, owners benefit from a three-year trial of Mazda Connected Services, allowing remote monitoring and control of the 2021 Mazda CX-5 via the MyMazda app. An in-car Wi-Fi hotspot trial, for three months or 2GB of data (whichever comes first), is also included.

Complementing this intuitive technology is the engaging driving experience. The naturally aspirated Skyactiv-G 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine delivers 187 horsepower and 186 lb-ft of torque, compatible with both regular (87 octane) and premium (93 octane) fuel. It’s paired with a responsive six-speed automatic transmission featuring manual shift and sport modes. While front-wheel drive and G-Vectoring Control are standard, Mazda’s i-Activ all-wheel drive system with off-road traction assist is available across all trim levels of the 2021 Mazda CX-5.

Safety is paramount in the 2021 Mazda CX-5, which comes standard with the i-Activsense suite of safety features. This comprehensive suite includes Mazda Radar Cruise Control with stop and go functionality, Advanced Smart City Brake Support with Pedestrian Detection, Smart Brake Support, Lane Departure Warning with Lane-Keep Assist, and Blind Spot Monitoring with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert. Additional standard features enhance convenience and comfort, such as a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, High Beam Control, Bluetooth hands-free phone and audio connectivity, dual front USB inputs, push-button start, electronic parking brake, remote keyless entry, rearview camera, cloth upholstery, automatic on/off LED headlights, 17-inch gray metallic aluminum alloy wheels, a rear roof spoiler, and rain-sensing windshield wipers.

Moving up to the 2021 Mazda CX-5 Touring trim, subtle refinements elevate the experience. Heated front seats, leatherette seats with Lux Suede inserts, and dual-zone automatic climate control enhance passenger comfort. Rear seat occupants will appreciate dedicated air conditioning vents, a center armrest, and two USB charging ports. Additional upgrades include Mazda Advanced Keyless Entry, rear privacy glass, a six-speaker sound system, and an auto-leveling feature for the LED headlights.

The newly available Touring Preferred SV Package for the 2021 Mazda CX-5 Touring further enriches the feature set. This package introduces a premium Bose® 10-speaker audio system, leather seating surfaces, a power liftgate, a power moonroof, an auto-dimming rearview mirror with Homelink®, a six-way power-adjustable passenger seat, and an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with lumbar support and memory settings.

A standout addition to the 2021 Mazda CX-5 lineup is the Carbon Edition. Sharing features with the Touring trim and Touring Preferred SV Package, the Carbon Edition boasts exclusive styling elements. These include Polymetal Gray exterior paint, gloss black door mirrors, and distinctive 19-inch black metallic aluminum alloy wheels. The interior features striking red leather seats and black honeycomb trim accents on the dashboard and door panels. Red stitching on the leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob further unify the color scheme. The 2021 Mazda CX-5 Carbon Edition is available with two powertrain choices. The standard option is the naturally aspirated Skyactiv-G 2.5-liter engine. For enhanced performance, the CX-5 Carbon Edition Turbo offers the Skyactiv-G 2.5 Turbo engine, producing up to 250 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque on premium (93 octane) fuel, or 227 horsepower and 310 lb-ft on regular (87 octane) fuel. The CX-5 Carbon Edition Turbo is distinguished by a unique powertrain badge.

The 2021 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring trim builds upon the Touring trim with upgrades inside and out. Interior enhancements include the Bose® 10-speaker audio system, leather seats, power moonroof, paddle shifters on the steering wheel, a seven-inch TFT reconfigurable digital gauge display, an auto-dimming rearview mirror with Homelink®, and SiriusXM® satellite radio with a three-month trial subscription. Exterior additions comprise a power liftgate, LED taillights, fog lights and daytime running lights, an Adaptive Front-lighting System, dual heated door mirrors, and 19-inch brilliant silver aluminum alloy wheels. The 2021 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring is exclusively equipped with the naturally aspirated Skyactiv-G 2.5-liter engine.

Elevating the experience further, the 2021 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring Reserve comes standard with the powerful Skyactiv-G 2.5 Turbo engine, denoted by a new turbo badge, and i-Activ all-wheel drive. The driving experience is enhanced with a windshield-projected Active Driving Display. Traffic Sign Recognition becomes available with the optional Mazda Navigation System accessory.
