What is Car Parts Sponsorship?
Car parts sponsorship is a mutually beneficial arrangement between automotive companies and car enthusiasts or racers. In essence, the company provides parts, discounts, or financial support to the sponsored individual or team. In return, the sponsored party promotes the company’s brand and products. This promotion can take many forms, such as displaying company logos on vehicles, mentioning the brand in social media posts, or representing the brand at events. For automotive enthusiasts, sponsorship can significantly reduce the costs associated with upgrading and maintaining their vehicles, making their passion more sustainable and accessible.
MAPerformance Sponsorship Program – Are You a Fit?
MAPerformance values its community and is seeking individuals who are already part of our customer base to represent us. We believe in building relationships with those who are familiar with and appreciate the quality of our products. This sponsorship is designed to support individuals who are actively involved in the car scene and can effectively showcase the MAPerformance brand.
Requirements to Apply
To be considered for a car parts sponsorship with MAPerformance, you must meet the following criteria:
- Existing Customer: Crucially, you must be a previous customer of MAPerformance. We prioritize sponsoring individuals who have already experienced our products and services firsthand. Applications from individuals who have not made a prior purchase will not be approved.
- Application Form: Complete the official sponsorship application form in its entirety.
- Photo Submission: Submit one high-quality photo that best represents you and your vehicle. This image is our first impression of your potential as a brand ambassador.
Due to the high volume of applications, please allow 4-6 weeks for our team to review your submission. We appreciate your patience and will be in touch as soon as possible regarding the status of your application.
What You’ll Receive
If your application is successful, you will receive a MAPerformance swag bag to help you represent the brand. This package includes:
- 1 Windshield Banner
- 2 Medium Decals
- 1 Small Decal
- 1 T-shirt
- 1 Lanyard
As a sponsored individual, you will be required to display at least the 2 medium decals and 1 small decal on your vehicle during all competitive events and photoshoots. Acceptable locations for sticker placement include: front bumper corners, doors or side skirts, rear quarter panels, and side windows. Once you have applied the stickers, you will need to send images to your MAPerformance team contact for approval to ensure correct placement.
How Sponsorship Works
Most standard car parts sponsorships through MAPerformance will offer a racer discount on products relevant to your vehicle and the events you participate in. For larger media events that provide significant brand exposure, MAPerformance may consider providing products free of charge. Specific details regarding discount levels and eligibility for free products will be discussed after your application form has been submitted and reviewed.
This sponsorship agreement is for a term of one year from the date of your acceptance into the program. MAPerformance reserves the right to end the sponsorship program or individual sponsorships, with notification provided via email.
