In 1976, we broadened our services with Great Northern Foreign Auto Service, Inc., later known as Tony’s Brake & Tire Center, specializing in import vehicle service. The establishment of Foreign Car Parts Warehouse, Inc. in 1983 marked our entry into parts distribution, which soon transformed into Car Parts Warehouse West, serving the west side of Cleveland. By 1985, Car Parts Warehouse Inc. on West 130th Street became our general office, solidifying our commitment to the Cleveland area.
Expanding to Meet Your Needs
Through strategic acquisitions and expansions, Car Parts Warehouse has continually enhanced its reach and inventory. Notable milestones include the purchase of King of Parts in Medina (1997), Clark Auto Parts (1997), and Tony’s Auto Parts (1997), significantly boosting our presence in the greater Cleveland area. The acquisition of Clark Auto Parts, a Cleveland institution, underscored our dedication to serving the local market with an extensive selection of aftermarket car parts.
The late 1990s and early 2000s saw rapid growth with the addition of Eagle Auto Parts (1998), Al, Lou & Jim Auto Parts (1999), and Reith Auto Stores (2000), expanding our footprint across Lorain, Elyria, Avon, and the east side of Cleveland. The opening of a second distribution center in Euclid in 2000, a massive 40,000 square foot facility, demonstrated our scaling capabilities to ensure readily available aftermarket car parts for our customers in Cleveland, Ohio.
Further acquisitions, including Foreign Car Parts in Cleveland Heights (2001), T&J Auto Parts Broadview Heights (2002), and Big B Automotive Warehouse (2002), strengthened our distribution network and product range. Our expansion continued into Canton (2003), Akron (2004), Youngstown (2005), and numerous other locations, ensuring comprehensive coverage throughout Northeast Ohio.
