We are currently seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to perform essential car and bus services, including repairs, preventative maintenance, in-fleeting, and vehicle reconditioning. This part-time car mechanic jobs position demands sound judgment and initiative, always prioritizing customer needs and adhering to our stringent Quality Standards. You will be entrusted with managing straightforward repairs on late-model vehicles, all while enjoying minimal customer interaction.
This part-time position offers a flexible 25-hour per week schedule, potentially including weekends, nights, and holidays based on business demands. You’ll receive a competitive hourly wage, ranging from $29 to $36 – paid for every hour you work, not on a flat rate basis. Located at our LGA Service Center in East Elmhurst, NY, the starting pay is $29.00 per hour, with opportunities for increases as per the collective bargaining agreement (CBA). Furthermore, earn additional compensation for each ASE certification you hold beyond the required four, up to a maximum of twelve.
