Precision Bugatti Tire and Wheel Sets
After extensive development, our Bugatti Tire and Wheel sets are now ready to ship. These meticulously crafted parts address the inaccuracies of the original Pocher components, offering a significant upgrade in realism and prototypical accuracy for your model.
Our tires are designed with a soft and flexible material, featuring a matte finish and a prototypically thinner profile, mirroring the tires seen on original Bugattis. This attention to detail is crucial for achieving an authentic look.
To complement the new tires, we redesigned the wheels from the ground up. Initial attempts to thin the original Pocher wheels were unsatisfactory. Therefore, we utilized CAD design and 3D rapid prototyping to create completely new wheels. This process allowed us to refine the air fins, giving them a sharper, more accurate edge. The wheels are now cast in colored resin as single pieces, eliminating the need for assembly and ensuring structural integrity.
Installation of these thinner wheels requires minor modifications to the model’s spindles and hubs. These brass parts are easily filed, and thinning the brake shoes is also recommended for optimal fit. Importantly, the wheels feature the correct air fin direction, further enhancing their authenticity.
